Linda Ojo, MD
Psychiatrist

Psychiatrist
My name is Dr Linda Ojo, board certified in psychiatry, and I am excited to talk about the various aspects of emotional wellbeing during perimenopause, menopause, and post menopause. The goal of my midlife reboot course is to demystify the emotional changes that occur during these years, and ultimately empower you with the knowledge and tools to advocate for your wellbeing. We will review common symptoms that may emerge such as anxiety, brain fog, mood swings, and sleep issues. We will review why these changes may be occurring, the key hormonal fluctuations at play, and most importantly, what you can do about it. In my clinical practice, I offer consultations, personalized medication management, hormonal related weight management, and integrative lifestyle approaches to your care. I completed both medical school and residency at George Washington University in Washington D.C and currently work at the Washington Center for Women’s and Children’s Wellness in Bethesda Maryland, offering both in person and virtual appointments. My interest in women’s mental health started in medical school, where I quickly recognized that the emotional wellbeing of women in reproductive care was commonly overlooked. I recognize how difficult it can be for women to seek psychiatric care, and I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for all. I am a wife, mother of 2 daughters and almost an empty nester. I love travel, the sound of the ocean, fashion, and growing vegetables in my little garden. Any tips on keeping the deer away are appreciated.
