Jennifer Gularson, PA-C, IFMCP is a board certified Physician Assistant who specializes in Functional and Aesthetic medicine. Jennifer completed Functional Medicine training through The Institute for Functional Medicine as well as the American Academy for Anti-Aging Medicine. Practitioners of functional medicine use a holistic, patient-specific, systems-oriented approach, looking at factors such as lifestyle, genetics, and environment. The goal is to address the underlying imbalances/root cause and promote overall well-being rather than just “bandaiding” symptoms. Jennifer enables patients to optimize their hormone, thyroid, and adrenal functions by using lifestyle modifications as well as nutrition and nutritional supplements in conjunction with traditional medications, if needed. Hormones and hormone replacement has been a passion for Jennifer for over 15 years. Although she sees both men and women, she has a special interest in treating the complexity of women’s hormones because she has experienced first-hand all the symptoms of hormone imbalance and the stress associated. She knows what it’s like to be sleepless, tired, experiencing hot flashes while raising a family and running a household. She can also personally attest to how hormone replacement and aesthetics have worked wonders for her.
